Musculoskeletal Problems
Musculoskeletal problems are among the most common reasons for patients to visit primary care and emergency departments, accounting for a significant number of all primary care visits. BMSR offers a comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging such as X-ray, MRI and CT scans to help in the evaluation and, in many cases, the management of most common musculoskeletal conditions. We work closely with orthopaedic consultants, spinal surgeons, rheumatologists, sports physicians, physiotherapists, osteopaths and chiropractors to help with the diagnosis and treatment of many musculoskeletal-related problems including:
- shoulder pain including evaluation of the rotator cuff, image guided injections for such conditions as tendinitis and frozen shoulder
- groin pain including suspected hernias, hip related pathology and soft tissue injuries
- arthritic conditions
- lumps and bumps
The BMSR Consultants have extensive experience in the diagnosis of soft-tissue lumps and are well placed to triage to more specialist care where necessary.
